... I really despise the soulless CAD illustrations which are in current use by scientific publications and aerospace corporations. As a kid I vividly remember being inspired by the wonderful lush paintings of such illustrators as Robert McCall. The above is from a NASA CAD which I extensively reworked in Photoshop and Corel Painter.
